Overseas Registration Examination (ORE)
ORE Part 1
Assesses the knowledge and clinical understanding of overseas dentists who wish to practise in the UK. Administered by the General Dental Council (GDC).
ORE Part 2
Designed for candidates to demonstrate practical clinical skills. All questions map to the learning outcomes for a UK dentist.
Licence in Dental Surgery (LDS)
LDS Part 1
Two 180-minute papers of single best answer (SBA) questions. Both must be passed at one sitting to progress to Part 2.
LDS Part 2
A two-day clinical exam: a 12-station OSCE plus a 6-case Structured Clinical Reasoning (SCR) examination.
LDS Part 3
A one-day, 180-minute operative assessment on a dental manikin, testing your practical clinical skills.
